Quality Bilt Equipment has a wide selection of stationary and self-contained compactors. We refurbish used equipment as well as manufacture new. Compactors save on hauling costs by reducing the number of “pulls” or pick-ups that a waste hauler has to make. This is done by reducing the volume of the trash through the compaction process. Stationary compactors are generally used for dry trash while self-contained compactors have a single floor between the compactor and the container, which does not allow seepage of trash fluids out of the container.

Used Stationary Compactors - Quality Bilt Equipment refurbishes used stationary compactors that we receive from businesses who are going out of business and have a compactor that still has a lot of life in it. Typically 8 - 10 years old, our refurbished equipment is brought back to usable condition with a warranty. Cram-a-lot, Philadelphia Tramrail, Marathon, Accurate and McClain Epco are common brand names of these compactors that we receive.
